Recently I was at a party in Boston with a friend of mine and a fellow party guest was telling me about a trip that he and his wife had taken to the Hampton’s. We had both been to the Hampton’s and stayed in a similar area but I couldn’t remember the name. He suddenly whipped out his phone and I figured he would show me the picture on a teeny tiny mobile screen, which I had become accustom to. Quite to the contrary, he had a projector mobile phone which projected the image onto the white wall behind. Suddenly many party guests joined into our conversation and my party mate was overwhelmed with all the questions to the point that we never really figured out where I had stayed. Usually these phones are made in China. They are very good quality and in addition to the projection technology the phones are also fully functioning phones with many other features. Some of which include wifi, browser, camera, video, SMS and more. A fully functioning media phone is a must for any tech savvy person in the year 2011. That being said I recently received my projector phone and I have been taking full advantage of what it has to offer in terms of functionality and sheer “wow” factor. It is definitely a conversation piece.

So you might ask, how much will a phone like this set you back. Well the general price is usually 140-200$ depending on the website. Some discount sites offer some really amazing offers. I consider this to be a bargain considering that my projector phone has wifi, browser, TV, projector technology, and a video camera. Also, all projector phones from China come unlocked and are usually dual sim, which is really an amazing feature if you use multiple providers or if you have prepaid sim cards.
