Clickbank Profitability Potential
ClickBank Tips to Help You Get Started and Make Some Money in 2011
By Max Greene
As you may already know ClickBank is one of the most successful online trading companies in the world. Their range of products is superb and there is something for everybody. However there is one problem that many people face when they first start with ClickBank and I should like to explain exactly what that is here and more importantly how to overcome it.
First just a very quick overview of ClickBank just to give you a feel of the size of the company, like eBay because the operation exists mainly on the Internet it is hard to visualize the size of the organization as it does not really exist in the physical world like a Wal-Mart or Barnes and Noble.
ClickBank was founded in 1998
ClickBank deals solely in digital products and has a range at the present time of about 70,000 these are distrtibuted by well over 100,000 active sellers.
It’s free to be an affiliate with ClickBank and many of the products sold on ClickBank pay a commission of up to 75%.
Somewhere in the world a ClickBank sale is made every three seconds and that is over 27,000 ClickBank transactions every day to over 200 countries.
Now for the bad news…
There is a problem that we all face (well most of us do anyway) it is this:
We don’t read the Terms and Conditions when we start anything and then we find out too late and then we feel like we have been cheated, so I am going to help you overcome that bit now, so read on…
ClickBanks accounting policy says that:
You will not get paid until you have made five separate sales…
PayPal payments do not count towards the five separate sales…
So to put it in plain English before you start to get paid you have got to have made five sales and so if two of those sales are made using PayPal then you are going to have to wait until you have made another two sales that have paid using credit cards.
This is just my own opinion
I personally think that ClickBank with-hold the commissions on the first five sales are simply this: if they did not then people would just sign up to become affiliates and make their purchase, get the commission from their own purchase and that would be the end of their dealings ClickBank as far as they were concerned. So I personally think that that is pretty fair. Everyone still gets paid in the end.
Now for the Good News and the Bad News
The Bad News;
Because some of the ClickBank products can be quite expensive it can take you a while to get your first five sales (patience is a golden virtue?).
The Good News;
Because ClickBank’s lowest item for sale starts at $3 it is possible to make five $3 dollar sales (not to people using PayPal though) get your commissions on those sales (about $4 all together) straight away, and then you will automatically get paid on any transactions in the future straight away regardless of how much the sale is for,
Thanks
ClickBank is a great organization. But it’s not perfect. They have an amazing range of products to both buy and sell. Their Guarantee is 100% secure and the commission is very good. However they do have two ‘Terms of Business’ which some people find out about later and then complain about. Please feel free to read about this at http://thekey.us thats it, Good Luck and Good Hunting, regards Max Greene.
