Well if this sounds like you then I drummed up a few mistakes that I’ve seen beginner guitar players make when starting out.

Mistake #1: You bought a cheap guitar. I’m guessing you went out and bought a cheap guitar thinking that you’ll just start with something affordable before moving up to a better built instrument. This is a problem. If the doctor told you told buy a knee brace to support your knee you’re probably going to go out and purchase the best of the best.
